Hey yall,

Hope you are having a good day. I was wondering what kind of music do you all like. I like all kinds of different music because there is so many different kinds of music. I am from America, but I like to listen to Japenese music. I used to live in a very big city and I was used to listening to many different kinds of music such as Hip-Hop, Opera, Spanish, Country, and Christian.

So if you can please reply and tell what kind of music you like and why.

Some classical, some jazz, blues, funk, heavy metal, melodic death metal (I always laugh at this genres name ), rock

as for bands:

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Foo Fighters
Despairs'Ray
Metallica
Iron Maiden
Children Of Bodom
Trivium
Mudvayne
In Flames
Queens Of The Stone Age
Motorhead
---
Joe Satriani, Steve Vai etc. Basicly any of this sort of music involving these masters of guitar among others.

well, in range of 'heaviness' it basicly goes

Rock, Heavy Rock, Metal, Heavy Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Death Metal

In Flames, is melodic death metal, Children of Bodom, is more on the side of death metal.

I just discovered Joshua James. You can listen to his most recent CD in its entirety on his web site, and it's quite nice. I think I may end up buying it, if I can scrape together the means.

I like Carnatic music.

Carnatic music or Karnāṭak music or Karnāṭaka Saṃgīta is a system of music commonly associated with the southern part of the Indian subcontinent, with its area roughly confined to five modern states of India: Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.

India has a classical music tradition that is around five thousand years old….Indian classical music is of two kinds viz, Hindustani and Carnatic. Hindustani music is indeed unique, developed in the northern region, while Carnatic music is indigenous to the south. Carnatic music is considered as one of the oldest system of music in the world.
