LaTeX text are formatted as GIF images. The baseline of the text in the GIF image is not level with the baseline of the typed text in the message area instead, the baseline of the typed text is level with the base of the GIF image as a whole. Lets leave it to MathsIsFun to figure out a way of aligning the baselines of the two sets of text.

And it gets more complicated - the gif sits in a form so you can click on it to open a new page with the latex code in it. How do I align a form with text?

I've seen several forums which LaTeX and text are almost aligned.
