Googles search service has been hit by technical problems, with users unable to access search results. For a period on Saturday, all search results were flagged as potentially harmful, with users warned that the site may harm your computer. Google attributed the fault to human error and said most users were affected for about 40 minutes.

The fault only lasted 40 minutes but I actually saw it! I saw all the results of my Google searches tagged as potentially harmful.

I thought this was a brilliant idea.
Then I discovered it was a mistake.
I really like of idea of ME being able to tag a site as unfit, so
that I do not click on it again. There are too many sites that
re-direct the [BACK] button back into their site. It then becomes
necessary to abort the browzer and restart.
I would like to put those web sites in a nuisance folder so that if
a few weeks later, I clicked on a site, the system would remind me
that this site was previously flagged by me as off limits.

Integer i think Mozilla has an add on like that, try searching for it.
Also spywareblaster(freeware) does that too.

Mozailla Firefox does have an addon that blocks images (if not whole websites) that you dont like. That was what attracted me to it in the first place.

yes now most browsers do that...i think people are getting more serious about their security and about ignoring/removing annoying ads.
