Betelgeuse is shrinking!

I thought this is interesting, Betelgeuse has shrunk by 15% over the last 15 years.
Which is the blink of an eye on cosmological time scales.

Betelguese, the right shoulder of Orion was always my favorite star. Thanks for the link.

Did you know that Nikola Tesla was also a big detractor of relativity among others and Einstein hated quantum mechanics. Great quote by Einstein on that page.

Hey bobbym,

Tesla said that relativity was clever and studied by many clever people
but it was wrong. I don't think that relativity has any math mistakes
but I agree that it is a model that gets you nowhere.

Tesla was probably centuries ahead of anybody around today (IMHO)

Oh no! Not Betelgeuse!! I just learnt what it was! I was watching Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I do wonder if it inspired the Tim Burton movie, Beetle juice.

Phew! ...  I'm not that worried anymore. I was just concerned because that guy I like in Hitchhiker's is from a planet in that constellation. (Not Zaphod Beeblebrox.) I just learnt how to spell Betelgeuse, too.

Maybe the would, but from what I read of your posts (you travel, you
have interesting opinions on interesting topics, you do some art work)
there is nothing creepy about you. Maybe they should feel good that
you are interested in them, not creeped out.

Yeah... You're probably right! Thanx jimmy! You're such a good friend ,*blushes* but you think my opinions are interesting? You must be more crazed out of your mind than I thought. No one takes an interest in my opinions. I've come to terms with that now. Usually I just listen to what people have to say. Except here! Here I try and do all the good I can (which doesn't seem to be very much). Which now puts me in a place where I say I should do an editorial more often.

My sister went to Stonghenge and said it was weird (like cold and spooky), just wondering if anybody else had any weird impressions about

I thought you might say that. I just wanted to be sure. No I haven't been there but I bet that I'd get the same feeling If I was there. I heard something like long ago sorcerers used to perform rituals there, and things. It's funny you brought up that subject...    I guess I have that effect on people.
