Learning Mathematics

I have done a short essay on Learning Mathematics

I would really value everyone's ideas on this subject.

How do you learn mathematics?

What works best for you?

What would you advise to others?

I think seeing the proofs of formulas always helps a lot, because then when you use the formula you know what you're doing.

Hi;

This is what I do, so everyone else should do something different.

1) Stubborness.

Everything that is not trivial, like a warehouse of food cannot be downed in one sitting.

Master, will all this take me a very long time. Only a lifetime, perhaps a little longer.

2) Experience.

Math is not a spectator sport. Problems, do lots of problems. Methods must become part of you. Then your own mind will do the rest.

3) Experiment.

You have your own learning style. Don't just follow the steps you are shown, try your own ideas!

The deepest idea that these 3 ladies stated was that trying your own ways was a large part of success at math.

I read a lot of books and went on the internet and spent hours doing maths problems, just investigate ideas.

Not this is important but on the link for patterns, where it has the 8 semi-regular, one of them is chiral (it's mirror image looks different!) in this case the first one.

Great page, you can change the "demiregular" that is near the bottom. Everything else excellent.
