It's the summer holidays, and there is no school for six weeks! The downside is that once you've finished going on holiday, having barbecues, paddling, sunbathing and doing other summery-type things, you reach the point where whatever you do, you've already done it so many times that you are almost instantly bored to the point of insanity. Don't worry! When you reach this stage, do this wordsearch, the 'massive' one. Not only that, but it times you, so once you've done it you can do it again to try to beat that record! I advise you to only do this when extremely bored.

It wanted to be normal.

That is a great link, mathsy. In fact the whole site is good.

On the website it says you can use it on other websites ... I have requested approval but have not got a reply yet.
But I couldn't resist playing with the new toy, so have a look at this: http://www.mathsisfun.com/games/word-search/
Use the little drop-down box - you may notice some familiar names there (sorry if I missed anyone, this is just a test, OK?)
Give me some word lists, and I will try to create some new word searches.
This is fun!

Was my full name too long?!
Some other categories: measurement, graphs, algebra, numbers (in other languages!) and geometry...the list goes on...

Shapes, units, um, things to write with? I've run out of ideas already. Just to warn everyone, the numbers has a fake 'nine' and 'ten'.

Ooh, tricky nine and ten, hey?
Want to give me any lists matching your categories?
Like:
Shapes
=====
Triangle
Square
Hexagon
etc..
Just if you want to see one of your own design

I like the doughnut shape. I think its mathematical name is 'torus', but don't hold me to it.
I like it because its volume involves the rarely seen pi².

By the way, I got a reply from the "wordsearch" creator, and he says we are welcome under the licence to use it here, plus mathionaire and hangman, too.
I am working on interesting versions of these, and will let you know when they are ready for testing.
(And it looks like I will have to come up with my own word lists for wordsearch coz noone is helping me *sheds tear* )

OK, since you're getting so worked up about it (LOL) um...

All of these categories kind of overlap...but at least now you have some word lists...
You can change them if you don't like them.

Rod, that is FUNNY!
