Probably no one saw it. Over here almost everything gets a response from someone. Lots of math brains here.
Perhaps they don't know the answer!
I can't speak for everyone but that is usually the case when I don't respond. Or because someone else has already done a better job then I could do.

5 + 9 =14 put down the 4 and carry the 1

1 + 2 = 3 it is not bigger than 9 so no carry, just write it down.
$1 7 0 . 0 9
+ 8 0 . 2 5

0 + 0 = 0
$1 7 0 . 0 9
+ 8 0 . 2 5

0 . 3 4
8 + 7 = 15 put down the 5 carry the 1
1
$1 7 0 . 0 9
+ 8 0 . 2 5

5 0 . 3 4
1+1 = 2
$1 7 0 . 0 9
+ 8 0 . 2 5

$ 2 5 0 . 3 4
$ 250.34 is the answer!
