According to the page, it could happen by itself. The photo shows a colony of bacteria already on the oil slick. I doubt BP or any other oil company would ever even consider such a solution. I mean if they were in favor of natural and cheap solutions they wouldn't be an oil company.

very true bobbym! I think that they should try every soulution given to them. I though would rather want more advice on plugging it than cleaning it up, but that's just what I think. I think ultimately BP will decide if they want to be open to ideas or behind close doors doing what they think is right for the company.

bobbym that's it you're a genius! We get a rug, move it to the oil spill pipe, put it on the spill and tie some string around it, and Tada! The oil spill's fixed!
