A technicality with question number 12 (Yes it's nearly 3 years ago tongue):

Technically decibels aren't used to measure anything as such and can used to 'measure' everything.

They are more of a ratio as in you can't say something is 5 decibels without a starting point, if that makes any sense at all.

For example, the -3db in power terms(wattage) would be the voltage has dropped by -3db (or 0.707 or 1/root2) but the power is halved.
