Re: General Quiz

Solve the equation (4+x)^2-21e3*10^(-20x)=0

Hi

I recently struggled a bid solving the equation above. Through trial and error I can get the value x, which is roughly 0,155; nevertheless, I was hoping for an analytical solution.

Anyone with a good suggestion.

I am having trouble understanding what equation you want solved. The e is what here? Is it e =2.718... or is it scientific notation?
