Yay! That was like the first post today where you spelt everything right. I think.

Re: Myths

When I type something long, my correct postiness will be dismantled.

Re: Myths

Okay. Type short posts and all will be fine. If you want to write something long, put it in separate posts. That might work. smile

Re: Myths

True. But I have to test the loyalty of my new hands. I'm also fully awake now, so I shouldn't have any problems.

You should go to the second hand shop. Lame joke, but I had to put it in somewhere.

Re: Myths

It made me smile. I have to go do washing up and work. I will be back later, hopefully.

Oh no, I won't. I have to go into town and get new brake pads for my bike. At the moment I have no back brakes!!

Re: Myths

I have to go too. I have homework to do. But at least tomorrow it's the weekend.

Hope you find some brakes...don't want you skidding down the road - that could be a good wink murder story. smile

Re: Myths

My story!! have fun with the homework and don't ask me to help unless it's science. That's my best subject.

Re: Myths

It's an RE project. Fun. And I've got a Middle Ages assignment. And a flute exam (I've already had my sax one). And theory homework. And some project about forests. And a chinese vocab test. I think that's all.

Maybe you could get your time machine and lend it to me, so I could go back in time to the Middle Ages.

Oh yeah, I do have some science homework, but I don't really think you could help - it's to know the periodic table. Back to front. And also know some basic formulas. Not that hard.

Re: Myths

I know. Repossesed is a long word. I thought the project might be due before then, but you could use to hand the project in before the deadline!

Re: Myths

That is good. Do you have any tips for memorising the periodic table (since science is your favourite subject). I know more than the first 20.

Re: Myths

I don't know the names in order, but I know most of the symbols and their names.

Eg. Pb = Lead
      Potassium=K

Yes. I know those ones. Hydrogen, Helium, Lithium, Borealium, Boron, Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Fluorine, Neon, Sodium, Magnesium, Aluminium, Silicon, Phosphorus, Sulfur, Chlorine, Argon, Potassium, Calcium. I think I messed up somewhere. Oh well. That's what I'm up to.

Re: Myths

Tungsten = W. And you got Beryllium wrong. And it should be spelt 'sulphur'.

Anyway, I found a spoof periodic table thingy and also the element song.

Sorry for the accompanying animation, it was the only place that I could find the song.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Re: Myths

The element song is just brilliant. Love the Flash work.

Now, a casual link to the BBC site (without your mention of spoof) could seriously undermine someone's education !

Arrghh! About Beryllium...that is one bad spelling mistake on my behalf! I think you can spell sulphur: sulfur or sulphur. One's the American version.

I liked the links. Now, if only I could learn the song...I would be singing away in my test!

Re: Myths

I didn't say you got sulphur wrong though, I just said that it should be spelt differently. It was a complaint to all the americans who change spellings of things just because they can't understand the concept of silent letters, not to you.

And also, Americans, one billion is not 10^9. [/rant]
