Me too. I try to remember that other people have rights. They are people just like me. Some people do not see it that way. They think because they are in cyberspace they can act any way they like. Frankly, their insults are hard to swallow.

The only time I really feel the need to be harsh with anyone over the internet is when they are harsh to someone else or I am joking (which I'd only do with people who know me enough to know I am not serious).

Usually, I have to step in when someone is berating someone else because I am a mod. My instinct though in those situations is to keep out.

I don't know. Probably because if I witness something and do nothing about it, my conscious will bother me. People try to tell you you shouldn't should on yourself, but I find it impossible not to.
