I have been to a lot of funerals. In my tradition a funeral is a very sad thing. Even though everyone should know that heaven is a much better place than earth and hopefully that person is in heaven. We cry over the loss and how much we will miss them.

At least you have more the family coming down. When my mom went the family I have did not even bother to call me up. They were just too busy planning on that big catered affair they were throwing for some nonsense that rich people do.
