The dog will get your slippers, eat burglars, herd your sheep, sniff out bedbugs, detect drugs, act as seeing eyes. Divorce case I knew of, they hated each other but they fought over who gets the dog. You know why? Because the dog loved them both. Their friends took sides, the dog did not.

I own that movie.  Great story and lots of fun to watch.

But the premise on which the story is based is that diagram (i) below applies.

But it's only a film, not real life.

I find that diagram (ii) works for me.

And if it doesn't for you, I submit you should try another lover(s) until you find someone where it does!

I knew I would get into something, since I was off all summer. It is a shame the two genders cannot live without one another. That would be a cure. (well, they can, but it is a thing about hormnes perhaps.)
