Swimmers and Divers..

In a camp for swimmers, there were 5 persons. They were to jump into a nearby pool and shout out either "Dive" or "Swim". The first person always had to say "Swim", then the next "Dive" then next one "Swim" and so on..

But, out of those 5, one was a Dis-obedient, another a Blind-Follower and one more(who hated the Dis-obedient guy) was the Anti-DO.

Now the Dis-obedient always said what he shouldn't say. The Blind-Follower spoke the same word as the one in front would say and Anti-DO said the opposite word of what Dis-obedient said.

The following sequence was heard from the 1st to the 5th man.
5 4 3 2 1

Swim Dive Swim Swim Swim

Can you guess which one was which?.:)

which one speaks first 1 or 5?

if it is 5 then 2 is the DO and 1 is BF.

if 1 speaks first then 2 is the DO and 3 is the BF

i think that either 1,4 or 5 could be ADO,because if he is the opposite of DO than he will always say the right thing just like N.

For the first one, it's given in the hint that 1 is N, so can't be ADO.

I think this is the sequence for second question: ADO, BF, DO, N, N

Yes that is correct.

Yes you left ADO out..plus it is not essential that ADO will say the right thing like N:

Say in the first case if instead of 4th, the 5th one is ADO..then he will say Dive whereas normal one says Swim.

i think you should just change your senbtence in the first post:
"Anti-DO said the opposite word of what Dis-obedient would say."

to

"Anti-DO said the opposite word of what Dis-obedient said."

it clears out a lot.
