Hello everyone
I am new here and need to learn algebra. I have returned to school after being out for more than 35 years. I have never had algebra in my life. I have tried buying books to help me learn but they tend to be too technical and I end up frustrated and lost.
I have to start from the very beginning. The most math I have ever had was the basics; add, subtract, multiple and divide so this is going to be a challenge. If anyone has any knowledge that will help me please feel free to put it up. All help is welcome.

Hi pinkdaisy;
Welcome to the forum. Do you have a book you are learning out of? Are you in some kind of algebra course?
You can start here.

At the first sign of danger, bring your questions right back here. I will assist, or someone else will.
I admire your courage.
