Greetings

Just an old guy (60+) who found he has forgotten more than a lot of people ever learnd, and wants to try to get some  of it back.

I've been helping my granddaughter with geometry (High School) and had no problem getting up to speed, but I realized I don't remember a great deal of what I learned in college.

I bought a copy of Network Analysis by Valkenberg to try to refresh my skills.

It looks like there are many helpful people here, and lots of resource material.

Hi TheGimp;

Welcome to the forum young fellow!

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

Yes, I do. The brain does not age as the body does. It can suffer illness but it does not wear out.

Hi TheGimp,

Welcome to the forum!

It appears to me that if one wants to make progress in mathematics, one should study the masters and not the pupils. - Niels Henrik Abel.

Nothing is better than reading and gaining more and more knowledge - Stephen William Hawking.
