Re: 10 second questions

Hi Arthur Bon Zavi and bobbym,

The solution #3349 is correct, Arthur Bon Zavi. Well done! (The solution #3348 is 20).

The solutions #3348 and #3349 are both correct, bobbym! Excellent!

#3350. Which is the prime number divisible by

?

#3351. The sum of two numbers is 40 nd their difference is 4. Find the ratio of these numbers.

Hi ganesh;

For 3350. If a number is divisible by

That means it is larger than that. Is that what you want?

No. Just a prime number divisible by that sum. That's it.

Re: 10 second questions

That sum is a huge number. The prime to have that as a divisor must be larger.

For instance 32 has 2 as a divisor.

For instance 32 has 2 as a divisor.

So if you want a small prime number, you have to make a guess.

Re: 10 second questions

2,3 are all divisors of 6. You cannot say that 6 is a divisor of 2. You also can not say 6 is a divor of 1. 1 is a divisor of 6. A divisor is smaller or the same size as the number.

Re: 10 second questions

By the same reasoning

is a huge number. For it to be the divisor of some number that number must be the same size or larger.

Re: 10 second questions

So it is larger to be divisible by that. In laymans terms that huge number goes into it.

And if that's a prime number which we are looking for, this sum cannot get divided by that prime number. wink

I understand what you say.

The actual answer is:

451937518566871396787294400495317155847

The addition isn't 425352958651173079329218259289710264320 ?
