But his advice was not to take my advice.

If you did not listen to him you would have listened to me. All three of us know that is not the case.

Re: [Crazy Math Picture] Man Giving Three Middle Fingers

hi,

It seems to me that if 'your advice is not to take your advice', then I cannot take your advice.  That way I can safely ignore what you say without creating a logical paradox.  That settles the previous advice.

Now you advise that we should take your advice.  Too late! We have had to decide not to take your advice and no further paradox arises by continuing to follow this policy.

Which is kinda sad sad  because you mostly talk such sense.

Solution:

You must be one of those strange islanders that we meet in logic puzzles that sometimes tells the truth and sometimes tells lies.

That way some of what you say is good advice;  the problem is working out which.  .... ponders   .... I get it.  All this is designed to make us think for ourselves; thus, improving us as people.  Gosh thanks, bobbym.  smile  Even when you talk nonsense, it makes sense!!!

Very good Bob. The major part of nonsense makes sense.

Hi bobbym,

So we are as one.  How appropriate that 'oneness' is also contained within 'nonsense'.

But also 'noses' for some bizarre reason which escapes me at the moment.

Yes, but no sense is in there too. But remember his advice, do not accept any of this.

Re: [Crazy Math Picture] Man Giving Three Middle Fingers

I think it is not a nose.

It's someone putting up their middle finger at us.  And thus is the circle completed.

I doubt it, consider the OP's username.

Anyway, I have had that gesture done at me more than once so I am immune to it.

Oh no, I didn't mean Benice.  That goes without saying.

Maybe another of the islanders;  the one who is always rude to strangers.

That Islander may have a point, why be rude to people you know?
