Re: What do you think?

Yeah, I think it would be better if he outlines whatever he knows and let other people fill in the details!

Hi gAr;

He says he did not get around to checking the last volume as well as the others. There just is not time enough.

That's right, time's never sufficient for anyone!

That is true. But I believe in reincarnation, so I plan to come back and do it all again. Hopefully, I will be a bit smarter.

Okay!
But there are too many life forms, and possibly life in other galaxies, so I want to do as much as possible in my present incarnation.

Yes, indeed!
I enjoy the present but can't help wondering what lies ahead.

A long life probably. You will have to decide how to get through it in the best way possible. You might make a discovery...

It takes combination of events to decide that.
But one thing for sure is continuous learning!

Math has a lot of ground to cover. We will never run out of material to study. Studying is a powerful feeling. It can replace all other desires.

Yes, that's correct.
It's the most pleasurable activity on earth, where too much is too good!

It is very rewarding and very introspective. Just you and the problem, silence everywhere else.

Re: What do you think?

New problem:

Three vases have water in them. They are marked W,X and Y. One half of W is poured into X. One third of X is poured into Y then one quarter of Y is poured back into W. After this process is repeated many times how much of the total amount of water is in X?

Hi bobbym,

Okay, meanwhile I'll try to find info about the asymptotic analysis.

Re: What do you think?

Hi;

I am sorry for being late but I had moderator duties that tied me up most of the night and early morning. Hopefully that is out of the way and I can finally do some math.

Sorry about that! I got him as ARBGenius but he slipped back in as TheMathJudge while I was eating. It is embarrassing how insane he is.
