VR Hawks - New Member of Math Is Fun Forums

From the registration date till now, I had never had any spare time to post even my first post on this forum. Today, the chance is finally given to me, and I will definately take it!

I've checked some of the threads around here before, and thought some were quite interesting. I especially liked the threads in the Jokes section, where the posts brought me laughs from my mouth. I'm really willing to see more of there.

Speaking of myself, I don't have really anything to say about now. You'll get to know more of me once we get in contact with each other more.

I'll be around if I have the time, and maybe deliver some posts up. I'll be lurking all over the place, so use your brilliant eyes and behold, wise members of Math Is Fun!

Give me a second!

Vincent; Final Fantasy Advent Children; Talking to Cloud after battling the Silver Haired Man. Possibly talking about Geostigma...

That's your avatar.

Re: VR Hawks - New Member of Math Is Fun Forums

Sorry if I haven't been replying lately, because I have been busy dealing with some other matters online.

Anyway, back on topic, thanks for all the warm welcomes. I really appreciate it! I will make your wishes come true and put up some posts around here if I can. If I am busy and can't arrive for some time, please forgive me.

Zach :: Correct you are. It is Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy: Advent Children. You sure are smart. Have you played Final Fantasy VII before?

Of course I'm smart and right.

I'm obviously that good.

And no, I haven't played VII before.

Re: VR Hawks - New Member of Math Is Fun Forums

the only final fantasy game i've played is ff8.  it was a real fun game but i will mostly remember it as the first game i could not complete.  griever was my stopping point.  his shockwave pulsar made all my characters drop dead like bowling pins.

oh and welcome VR!  you can call me F4C cool

Re: VR Hawks - New Member of Math Is Fun Forums

So you played FF VIII, F4C. Nice to see someone playing one of the FF series in a forums that hasn't anything related to that kind.

It's easy to defeat Griever. Just use one simple way: continously use Squall's ultimate limit break (Lionheart) on him and he'll be dead in no time. If you're damaged heavily, try healing yourself with megalixirs. smile

Oh yes, thanks for your warm welcome. I appreciate it very much.

FF1. Done and dusted. Then, I did it again on the GBA version.

I'm more of a Shining Force guy, I & II.

Re: VR Hawks - New Member of Math Is Fun Forums

griever is easy to defeat only if you are prepared.  stupid me never bothered to learn the junction system so none of my characters were properly equipped.  even worse, i fought all my battles using the GFs exclusively.  As soon as battle began i would whip them out and hope for the best.  not once did i attack, used an item, nor cast magic – the GFs did all the fighting.  i never upgraded my weapons nor stocked up on potions as a result.

my avatar is also a game character.  you know what game he's from??  zach seems to know a lot about games he's never played so may be he might just know. wink

Re: VR Hawks - New Member of Math Is Fun Forums

You can junction your stats to the max by junctioning the strongest magics to your stats. And once you've got the ultimate weapon for Squall, and bought enough healing items, you're mostly finished and out to battle Griever easily.

By the way, Squall's ultimate limit break kills. If you get it working, then you're sure to win the whole game of FFVIII.

And of the avatar, I can't possibly know who that could be. I asked 3 friends of mine and they said they have absolutely no idea.

It's probably a lame game.

No, he means the game that F4C's avatar is from. It looks like that guy is playing some kind of sport. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Quidditch or something.

Re: VR Hawks - New Member of Math Is Fun Forums

It looks like the character of F4C's avatar is playing soccer more than Quidditch, because normally people who play soccer look like that.
