The problem was a typo. Regretted! The problem should have been:

A father is four times as old as his son. After 20 years, he would be twice as old. At the time of birth of his son, how much old must the father be?

The solution is 30 years.

#4103. The average age of a class of 20 students is 20 years. If the teacher's age is included, the average increases by 1. What is the age of the teacher?

#4104. The average age of a class of 24 students is 24 years. The average increased by 1 when the teacher's age is included. What is the teacher's age?
