Secret message

Graph the twelve equations
on top of each other for a message.
1. y= (3/2)x+1;

2. y= (-3/2)(x-2)+1;

3. y= 9(x-3)+4;

4. y= -9(x-5)+4;

5. y= -(x-4)+3;

6. y= (x-4)+3;

7. y= 2;  19/3 < x < 23/3
8. y= 3(x-6)+1;

9. y= -3(x-8)+1;

10. y= (1/2)(x-9)+1;

11. y= (-1/2)(x-10)+5/2;

12. y= (1/2)(x-11)+4;

Re: Secret message

I tried to use the "spoiler" BB Code to hide the answer, but it didn't work.
[font=Courier]Maybe I'll use the hide tag later.[/font]

Re: Secret message

It didn't work because the BB Code is 'hide' instead of 'spoiler'

{hide=Click!}Yay! You clicked!{/hide} (replace {} with []) gives

(You could also hide text like this. It relies on people using the right skin, though.)

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Re: Secret message

Well a year has almost passed since I posted these 12 equations, and no one solved!!
Oh well, maybe it's just too hard.
A trick is the subtraction signs in the equations, they move the lines the opposite direction.
Negative moves right, positive moves left, best I can remember.
Or you could just plug in the end points in the range of x, and get endpoints for y and plot it on graph paper...
Good Luck this year on the secret message...
