I know old threads,arent they "clogging" the forum?
You should Delete them.

Some old threads are really good ... they have solutions that people search for.

It may not be that much faster either. Say a database has to search an index: it might take 30 steps to find an entry. If you HALVE the size of the index then it might take 29 steps and who would notice? (There are other issues, such as memory and disk, but you see what I mean).
