Re: What do you think?

How much of your CAS have you finished?

It's about your method and about Maxima.

Re: What do you think?

We finished lots of the algebra and calculus, multiprecision artihmetic and was starting to work on plotting then...

Re: What do you think?

I came across this program called Mupad 1.4 so I dowloaded it and installed it. When I ran it I could not believe what I was seeing!

Re: What do you think?

Well, still, it is no reason to stop coding your own CAS...

Re: What do you think?

I was coding it to do mathematics. Not to code. We were already the best in the world. Whereas an ordinary programmer can turn out 100 lines of code per day, we could turn out 500 lines per day. Mupad 1.4 was an amazing math package already fully developed, with more features than mathematica or maple. And better graphics.

I went back to doing math again, I was happy!

Well, if it made you happy, it is a reason enough!

Re: What do you think?

I am lucky that my life has been easy to analyze. I can see the "The Frenchman's," causality in almost every decision I made. It was easy for me to know what I did that was wrong. Other people, I am told never figure their own existence out at all. They can not even figure why they are alive. I mean not even a clue...

That does not really mean that it was not a mistake.

Yes, but it allows you head to stay cooler. That way you can overclock your brain without burning it up.

Re: What do you think?

So, you have the brainpower of ten thousand legs? That is an amazing result. Just, be careful! You don't want people to find that out!
