That sounds very wonderful. Music to ears.
How do you do that?

Ever heard this story?
Cole announced a talk "On the Factorisation of Large Numbers".
He walked up to the blackboard without saying a word, calculated by hand the value of 2^67, carefully subtracted 1. Then he multiplied two numbers (which were 193707721 and 761838257287).
Both results written on the blackboard were equal. Cole silently walked back to his seat, and this is said to be the first and only talk held during an AMS meeting where the audience applauded. There were no questions.

They were expecting a proof... He just did the computation and sat down. Numbers do not lie.
Yes, I would send you to the computer. Is there any other way to do this? I mean mathematicians have been baffled by this problem since Euler.

There isn't. I agree.
But I would love to know the algorithm

So whats the secret of doing the goldbach decomposition without a table?

I would definitely use a table!

That is what I thought originally but I think a table is a good idea.

You can download them and it is very likely that you will find two primes with one of them being small.

If I run a program to build that table now, how likely is it that it will finish when I wake up?
I just remembered that I already have all primes upto 33554393

You will gamble that the one of the primes is small, say less than 10000. So the table will be small and quick to generate. You will be done quickly.

Hold on, remember some odd numbers are not the sum of two primes. Take 17 for instance it needs 3 primes.

Don't Worry, I am using an even number
P.S.:
Last night I spent 4 hours to do it with the nested loops method. All efforts were in vain.
Today I realised my fault when I woke up and did the following just now and it worked within a split second :
1. I imported that table and sorted in a descending order.
2. For each prime a in the table, I calculated the other number b = (My phone number - a)
3. I did the Miller Rabin Test, and if that returned True then I carried b over to the real prime test.
4. If 3 returned true, I simply print a and b
Odd numbers are not special, because they will have too many solutions

What I was driving at is that since your telephone number is even, in an effort to verify the Goldbach conjecture, they have already tested all numbers up to 10^18. They all were the sum of 2 primes.
