I like lots of vegetables or legumes whatever they are called. Beans are difficult to prepare so I do not try.

You don't NEED to soak them, but it makes the cooking process go quicker. And some recipes actually call for soaked beans. If you don't soak them, the cooking time will be wrong, and some recipes will tell you how long to soak the beans first. Not all, but some.

There are lots of different red beans. Kidney beans, Honduran beans, Azuki beans. red rice beans. All sorts. My favorite are kidney beans.

Not to me it isn't.

I am 93 and a gemini. I like bball, pool, chess, bear fighting and dating, which is about the same as bear fighting. I also like being dropped in the jungles of Borneo and fighting my way to the coast. I am Cary Grant good looking, charming and not afraid to cry.
