Think about this, if Earth were a bag of 100 M&M's:

97 pieces would be extremely salty and not fit for you to eat,
2 pieces are edible, but they are stuck in the bag where you can't get them,
there is only 1 piece of candy left in the bag that you can eat.

Earth may not be based on god or goddess,but it's hindi and bangla name(prithibi) is based on a goddess.
