To work out problems like this, work backwards.

my uncle
the father of my uncle = my grandfather
the daughter of my grandfather = my mother or aunt
the son of my mother/aunt = my brother/cousin

Since “cousin” is not a choice, the answer is therefore “brother”.

Most people get confused because they try to work things from left to right instead of right to left. Alternatively, if you insist on working from left to right, replace the of by ’s:

the son of the daughter of the father of my uncle = my uncle’s father’s daughter’s son
