Testing Puzzle

Here is an interesting testing problem for you. Arranged in the three boxes are the numbers 0 through 14. The 'tester' has placed the numbers in each box according to some scheme he has made up. The problem is to reason the scheme out so that you can place the next three numbers, 15, 16, and 17, into the correct boxes. Your time limit on this test is five minutes.

0  3  6  8  9                              BOX I

1  4  7  11  14                          BOX II

2  5  10  12  13                        BOX III

If five minutes aren't enough, you may take ten!

Re: Testing Puzzle

Ten days may be more useful! More to the point, did this sad individual have a practical purpose for putting numbers in boxes?
