Hi yazz;
Welcome to the forum. You are correct, programming requires a lot of math to do it well. Programmers who do not realize this will have a difficult time no matter how clever they are with their favorite language.
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

Math is an interesting subject when you are not being burdened by having to do it in a classroom. So I guess, if you are interested in an interesting subject then you become interesting.

I am not any type of genius unless a non math genius is a type of math genius. I started as a math type then became a programmer because I wanted to solve tough math questions using a computer. I thought that if I used a computer I would not have to use any more math. I was not very bright back then either. Then I found that I needed more math than ever before so I came back to math.

Hi;
You are perhaps on a better path than I was. There was no internet and no computers when I was your age. Naturally, there was no programming either. Math was taught in a manner that when we would enter a physics or chemistry class we were completely lost. We knew nothing of how to calculate a number. This effectively ended my dreams of being a biochemist or chemist.
Because I could not relate mathematics to anything in the real world I was always asking the question, what is this good for. So I say learn the computer first. Learn how to calculate real numbers on it. Then take up math. You will never ask the question that confused me so much.

Remember to show whatever work you have done. It is easier to assist when you know exactly where the questioner went wrong.

Hello yazz, welcome to the forum!
Though the curriculum is good, in a country as populated as India, teaching quality is something which often gets little importance. Nonetheless, the fact that you are trying to supplement that lacking with online resources is commendable!
