The ancients did not believe in modern mans concept of time or space. Instead of the universe being flat like a plane which means to go from one point to another you have to travel the intervening distance, they saw the universe as a crumpled up plane where all points in time and space were on top of each other, like a ball.

I like guessing at the problem but not at what the problem is.
Please make the OPs question clearer to me.

That do not know how to do. Math is hard, philosophy is impossible. Pope's quote was quoted to me many times only now I actually understand it.

There are mathematical philosophers too, and like regular philosophers they can argue for thousands of years about things they can never resolve.

I asked "if time is linear or not?". Because I think time is not fundamental. I don't believe we could go back in time if time is just "change"

Based on my comments in post #28 I would say I do not believe in linear time.

Go to Wikipedia, search for time dilation, spacetime, gravity, time travel, time and relativity

Idk... I guess the next Albert Einstein will explain more...

The heck with the next Einstein, we need another Newton to come along.

Yes, that michio kaku guy is bringing it up again. What would happen if we are really just holograms?

It is the oldest, which is why it is called the Sanatan Dharma.

Of course it is impossible to know which is the oldest. But it does not really matter, since all religions (especially Hinduism) believe that no religion teaches the only way to salvation above all others, but that all genuine paths are facets of God's Light, deserving tolerance and understanding.

I believe that kind of tolerance was first in Jainism. Unfortunately, that is not a belief shared by the worlds people.
