Hi;

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.

I think the question needs to give a bit more detail.

B's biodata

B is a fictitious character, as are the rest.

Re: What do you think?

I have not fleshed any of them out to avoid someone thinking that some letter corresponded to him/her. When I first used that format I thought it would be an amusing way to get some interest in the problems.

I will drop that format. I have had people who believe that the letters stand for them. I have joking said the characters are based on real live people and was misunderstood.

Re: What do you think?

This is why I thought you were becoming too serious. You are getting worried over trivial things and think that we are so sensitive that we will get upset over such small things.

Re: What do you think?

Hi bobbym

The problem is ill-defined.

Re: What do you think?

Me, Elaina and bobbym are interpreting the tests as indistinguishable with the days being distinguishable and the ways to arrange that is 70. Then, the possibilities where there is only one test is 5. Therefore, we got 65/70, which is different from Stefy's answer?

Re: What do you think?

It's not different. Look at the two more carefully.

Re: What do you think?

Do you guys really not realize the I just cancelled the factor 5 in 65/70 to get 13/14?

There should be a Psi in there. It is the symbol for psychology.
