More engineer bashing

During Vector Calculus today, my professor was going over how to compute complex and long integrals in an easier manner.  Before going into the lecture she said:

"A good mathematician would say, 'There has to be a theorem that will help me out.'  A good engineer would say, 'I'm gonna get this sucker.'"

"In the real world, this would be a problem.  But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist.  So we'll go ahead and do that now..."

Re: More engineer bashing

That isn't engineer bashing - it is simply true! That good ole "Can Do" attitude. smile

A logarithm is just a misspelled algorithm.
