FUN add 28 game!

So the object of the game is to add 28 to the last person who added 28. it sounds confusing i know. Heres an example:

i say 28.
The first person to comment adds 28 so they would say 56.
now the next person adds 28 to 56 and so on.

i start!

28!

Re: FUN add 28 game!

Why does it sound confusing? It is not hard to understand.

The next number is 304888344611713860501504000028. smile

To be honest, we have too many "forum games."

MIF seriously needs to consider not counting posts in "Members Only."

Hi mathaholic. I think you mean 304888344611713860501504000112 (or 3.04888344611713860501504000112 × 10^29).

Re: FUN add 28 game!

Because of a typo in the OP's post.

Re: FUN add 28 game!

Why should the answer be 56? The point was to add 28, not subtract 304888344611713860501503999944.

Re: FUN add 28 game!

ShivamS took advantage of a oddity in the way the OP phrased the problem.

Did the OP not intend to start at 28!?

I think she wanted to start at 28, but she wrote 28! instead of 28.

Re: FUN add 28 game!

It is not a typo. It is a misunderstanding of meaning of the intended meaning of the exclamation mark.

I know. I didn't say that the misunderstanding was accidental. smile
