You have never seen the movies either? Hmmm.
It is a computer simulation that humans are kept in from birth. In it they experience an illusory reality, one that they think is true. They abide by its rules never suspecting the sinister reason for the simulation. Neo the hero, is one who has the ability to see past the simulation, to see a higher reality. The story is about him.
