Bitter snails

There are 15 different snails and I want to distribute them between 4 people.  Each person has to get at least one snail. How many ways are there to do this?

Re: Bitter snails

Is it compulsory that every snail has to go to a person?

If yes,

Hi Agnisjom

I do not know what the answer is, but that one is not correct.

Why is the other idea not working?

Re: Bitter snails

Why should it be unpredictable? There is no hyperspace here.

Re: Bitter snails

Correct! Nor can you get certainty with only one answer! You will forever be thrashing around with binomial this or binomial that.

You are working like the guy who solved this problem. He only got one answer and I believe it is wrong. If you only have one answer you do not have any degree of certainty.
