Hi all you math fun lovers!

I have high school math and no more, but I do think math is fun and life is fun, so I hope to have some fun here and maybe learn a thing or two along the way, so I dip my toes into the waters here - no biting! :-)

Hi;

Welcome to the forum.

I have high school math and no more,

According to Zeilberger that is all you need. I have been struggling to get that much all my life.

Thanks. Well welcome to ... er well, my being on the forum? The fun thing about math to me (and mind you, most of you will likely know a lot more math than I do) is that it is about how things (numbers and units I guess) relate to one another.

What does math mean to any and all of you, and what use is it do you think?

Re: Hi all you math fun lovers!

Hi;

I am afraid Yoda is incorrect there, success is an illusion.

Math is a language made up by the mind of man, but math cannot explain the minds that made it up.

I think you need philosophy for that, I just always wanted to know how many pears, apples and peaches can you distribute to 5 different kids.

Depends on how many fruits you have divided by 5, and if you want to distribute them equally.

Besides I am not Yoda. Isn't your Avatar of Yoda?
