I've been contemplating learning math for two years now but never felt like it was right just yet for various reasons.
Anyway, I've decided finally to JUST DO IT.
I pretty much ignored math in school and was one of those people that assumed they would drag at it so never tried.
Right now, it feels like a lot of things would be much better if I just learn it and let go that fear.
So, I am here.
I never joined forums before so this would be interesting and also I looked it up mainly because this guy I watched suggested a community so I'd kick in my competitive streak and feel more compelled to learn it. -sounds kinda weird if you ask me and not something I'd feel proud learning math being motivated by but if it works it works.

hi IMustDoItTheWrongWayFirst
Welcome to the forum.
Any chance you can adopt a shorter and more optimistic name?
I have just recommended another member to look here:
I think this site is an excellent way to start learning maths. Our forum grew out of the teaching site to give posters a place where they could raise questions.
I recommend you use both.

Hi, Bob
I don't see it as negative name because I end up really learning about things when I try out all the ways it's not right, then I really understands why it's the way it is.
I'll make it into acronyms though to make it easier to use.
Thank you! I'l look into it.

I don't think I can change it, so if you see me around you can call me Faith.
