I think I did one in about 45 or 40 something moves once. Soon you will find a pattern in the way it is solved.

That's actually possible. All you need is a plan on what moves you will make before you actually attempt it.

Well, for starters, you'd need a fairly sized cube to fit your hand. A large one wouldn't necessarily suit your hand. A small one would be OK, though. I'd imagine it would be rather easy to switch colours, etc.
