I haven't used a forum like this in ages (and I'm only in my mid 20s) so apologies in advance if I bork the formatting a bit.
I've used the MIF website for years now; the explanations are great for when I want to sanity check and make sure my intuition about something is right. I have the memory of a goldfish, so it's nice to have such a well written and easy to understand reference. I graduated high school being terrible at maths, but through self study I've been able to teach myself up to multivariable calc so far. I'm still terrible at maths, but I really think it's fun now.
Along with calculus, I'm currently working through a university physics textbook and spend a lot of my time just learning. I also need to get better at writing proofs, since a lot of the cool stuff seems to be contingent on me structuring and understanding them. Trying to work through Spivak, for example, really reinforces that.
I'll end before I start to ramble even more, but I've been reading through the forum a bit over the past few days and just wanted to introduce myself. You folks seem very lovely.
