Don't you mean Book the Thirteenth? I'm going to read that soon. I'm at university at the moment and my parents said that they found it for an incredibly cheap price somewhere at Tesco's so they bought it. Just to provide a reference to ballistics.

There are two variations of the word; Ballistic and ballistics, with the 's' on the end to signify a plural. They both have different meanings of each other.

Serendipity has an interesting history.

There is an old Persian fairy tale about the 3 princes of Serendip (which was the Persian word for Sri Lanka). The princes apparently made accidental discoveries that also required them being wise enough to see the importance of the discoveries. An Englishman read the fairy tale and created the word "Serendipity" to describe such a discovery, which was a form of Serendipity in itself!
