Just some (retarded) thought i chase around in my head when im board
If the Universe is always expanding, then there must be something outside of it to expand into...
whats outside of the universe...
why is there even a universe...
if there is something outside the universe then what is it...
assuming there is something outside the universe, why is that something there....
is that something inside of something else....
why does the universe even exist.....
if the universe didnt exist where would it not exist......
since the universe does exist where the *fudge* is it...
and so on in an endless loop....
anyone else ever had a retarded thought like that?

Macka,
I suggest you read Stephen Hawking's 'A Brief History of Time'.
BTW, your thought is not retarded and is progressive
It appears to me that if one wants to make progress in mathematics, one should study the masters and not the pupils. - Niels Henrik Abel.
Nothing is better than reading and gaining more and more knowledge - Stephen William Hawking.

lol, 'a brief history of time'... i think that might just be an oxymoron (2 words that contradict each other)
eg Government Organisation, Microsoft Works (my personal favourite), Butt Head... and so the list goes on

Maybe it sounds an oxymoron,
but the fatc is it is a fantastic book written by one on the greatest liging astro scientists ever lived.
Stephen Hawking's book is too good

That's your first mistake. The universe defines space. Outside the universe space does not exist, and thus, the phrase "outside the universe" doesn't make sense. It's like asking what continent is south of the south pole.
"In the real world, this would be a problem. But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist. So we'll go ahead and do that now..."

Non-space is "outside of the universe".
Boy let me tell you what:
I bet you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player too.
And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you.
