Well, is 64 a good grade? What would be considered a good grade?

On my schools grading scale 64-0 is a F.

Sounds like lots of study and practice is needed

Even though it hasn't been mentioned yet: Remember that many of us here at the forum will be more than happy to help you. Just remember not to write here the day before you get your grades. Last minute studying should be avoided to any extent possible.

It takes a good period of time for you to actually learn and take in a lot of information. Say, you are reading a book. You probably wouldn't understand it if you read it at a pace of one page every 5 seconds. Maybe before you go to bed, look at your revision book, and say things like 'What, in a cell, causes Cell Division' to yourself. It helps quite a lot. Try and understand every word the teacher(s) or your revision book(s) say(s). It helps greatly if you have a pocket dictionary at hand to research a word. Although they are probably not allowedin your exam.
