Basic algebraic terms
1. Identify and pair the following like terms:

2. Collect the following like terms and write in simplest form:
a) 3x+5x
b) 2ab-3ab
c) 5cd³-2cd³+8cd³
d) 6s+s+5t
e) z²+z-2z
f) 4ab+3a+b-ab-b+ab
g) 5ad²+6a²d-0.5ad²+a²d
h) 9mn+m³n-m²n+6mn³-mn-1mn³+2m³n
[Hint: Remember when re-arranging that if there is a negative sign in front of a term then it will stay there, no matter where you move the term]
