It seems pretty popular at my school at around the grade 7-8 (12-13) age groups, but none of my friends play it.

Yeah, there's no version of it, which isn't online.. Unless you've used an emulated server.

Warcraft: Humans & Orcs, Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness, Warcraft 2: Beyond the Dark Portal, Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne were probably the Warcrafts he was referring to.
