Hi everyone,
as I am using the resources made available on this site, I thought it only polite to say hello. I am not a teacher, or a student, but a Dad to couple of children (aged 6 and 10). I live in Aldershot, in England. I am reasonably competent at maths, and quite enjoy solving maths problems. My main reason for using this site is that whilst I am quite happy to bumble along and solve problems, I have sometimes had difficulty in getting my 10 year old to understand what I am trying to tell him. He is a very bright lad, and is in a 'rising stars' program for maths at his school. The explanations, examples and tools on this site are very clear and concise, and help me to help him without confusing him further.
Looking forward to getting to know a few of you.:)

Hello there - glad to hear you've got some use out of the site, and welcome to the forums!
What sort of things are your kids learning in maths at the moment?
