Heh, that's all that comes to mind, i think several forum members are named after gods of some kind.

I swear that used to be the other way round. Like, it used to be Devanté, not Devantè. At least, that's what I have been typing all along ... and mostly everyone else too.

It means two things...

The Spanish origin is that it means 'Fighter Of Wrong'.
Another (I think Hindu if I remember from a long time ago) origin means 'God'.

EDIT: Yeah, I asked MathsIsFun (via PM) to change it.

So, does the accent make a difference in pronunciation or meaning or anything else? Any reason for the change?

Well, normally, I think it'd be pronounced as 'Devarnt' because of the è. I doubt it changes anything in meaning, I've never heard of a change of accent and/or pronounciation do that. One of the reasons for the change is realising how many times my name has appeared with the wrong accent. I said it was my real name, so it should be the real thing.
