Thats an awesome picture and lots of people do mostly find all they're funnniest pictures from google...
I find mine on total accident by doing something as simple accidently pressing the wrong button

It came off Google. But then I edited (see the tackiness?) it. And hosted it. Then posted it.

The best way to kill a joke is to explain why it's funny. So you're right when you say that it didn't work, but only because you said so.
Kind of maybe back on-topic, I think the general concensus is that editing is better than double-posting, unless the topic has been dormant for a while and you want to draw people's attention to it again. Of course, then you need to be careful of bumping, which can be frowned upon if it's not for good reason. This minefield of netiquette is very complicated.

Mine fields are when someone digs around one hundred holes at least one metre away from each other. Then they plant bombs in them. To get across a mine field, you have to be very careful.
