You also have to be able to answer the question.
It's certainly a tough one. I think the article is biasing the problem a little bit though, the example question that they give isn't at typical university level. It's just something that they expect everyone to be able to answer easily, and anyone who can't gets put in a catch-up class.

Indeed. Exams have easy to hard questions (If they were all easy most would get "A"s, if they were all hard most would fail).
So you could compare the easiest Chinese question to the hardest UK question and publish it in China for the same effect.
But I let you guys know about the contest because of the £500, which expires real soon.
